Hi all. Quick question. I recently purchased this Marocchi EVO Sporting gun, used but in immaculate condition. When it is put together it is rock solid. When I have it taken down to store it in her case, the forend is a little sloppy and rattles when attached to the barrels for storage. Again, when put together the forend is solid and you can’t move it at all, as it should be. I assume that is ok? The gun was purchased from a Marocchi dealer. Sorry for the pictures. They were the ones from the dealer. I didn’t have time to take my own.

Karl, Thank you. That makes me feel better. Any idea why it happens?

Nice gun.

When assembled the action bar applies tension to the rear of the fore-end.

That does not happen when the fore-end is just clipped to the barrels in their own but it is not a problem.

Don't worry about a rattle when taken down. I wouldn't even be concerned if the fore end was loose when assembled as long as the barrels are tight on the frame.
