Indeed, those Bohemians were hunters & shooters. They had guns made for a specific purpose. And we Americans just hear a smattering of their endeavors due to a language barrier & geographic location.
There are some wild stories out there to be told..... And many times on the sporting weapon's platforms are left to tell the tale. They held to tradition; hammergun platforms, metal buttplates and finally after much coaxing, moved on to a hammerless platform. I am surprised that they still don't have those Scottish Fish Scales on the stock????

I recently bought a Belgian box lock made by Liegeoise D’Armes A Feu with the same “yoke” on the forend ejectors. It must serve as an assist in cocking the ejectors. I don’t see how it would disable the ejectors. It seems a lot of gun for the money.
