I can testify to one of Daryl’s 16ga pinfires handling well - I was fortunate enough to get to carry it one day and we got into a few partridge. The gun is of French make and is stocked fairly high so it was easy to switch to after shooting a more modern English gun.
So much fun making black powder smoke!

I have only ever shot one of mine once. I also have never gone hunting. Maybe some day.
Daryl, maybe your guy can make some modern Pauly cartridges for me and we can go back another 40, 50 years and shoot a couple of them.

Aaron, a Pauly cartridge and gun would be fun. Pauly is a most important name in the firearms history. Four or five decades ahead of the others. I don't have a Pauly, but would enjoy having one to try to shoot.
