![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/11/13/EyA8puO7_t.jpg) Looks like it was made @ Hänel where they were completed by the most competent mechanic Gebhard Helmuthhauser / Gebhard Helmuthäuser or Gebhard Helmuthäuser who was listed @ Bergstraße 1 or Gebhard Helmuthhauser / Gebhard Helmuthäuser or Gebhard Helmuthäuser was sourced for the tube work. Evidently he had a difficult time spelling his name or I do one???? The Suhl Proof Facility was purportedly going thru a ReFurb about this time? Hochachtungsvoll, Raimey rse

![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/7a/0b/MWiymkXk_t.jpg) It sort of resembles a Imm. Meffert Treff Action??? Hochachtungsvoll, Raimey rse

Well, this one you cannot refer to as a Biks as it is a Büchsflinte or Cape Gun. What might the standing breech resemble?

I forgot to note that I do not see a >>Nitro<< Proof Stamp for the 44 Bore / 0.410". And I assume the length is 65mm.

Raimey, There was an earlier 410 with 2" chamber, this could be one of those. Mike

Could be Ford, could be. But I would expect that any length other than the nominal 65mm would be noted?? Looks like I may need another affidavit.

Raimey, Since the 2" preceded the 2 1/2", it may have been the standard, note the 44r in a circle, was this the proof mark for 410 or a similar cartridge? Mike
