I used to sell my hulls on ebay before they made their last brilliant move.Does anyone have any idea as to where most of the reloading and gun components will migrate to on the web ???

Randy:
I will admit, I really don't follow ebay, so do tell what have they done now? Wherever you go, I'm sure we would be interested to know. Also, I'm not partial to auctions: for example folk take a good box of vintage ammo, part it out cartridge by cartridge and then sell the box. I guess it fares well for the auction company and the seller.

ellenbr, That's what auction sites are for, marketplaces where buyers and sellers trade. Ebay is a fabulous marketplace for both. The inability to trade firearms parts and associated accessories across this large spectrum of buyers and sellers is a tough blow for me. I can only suggest firearms auction sites or Craig's List. A tough break indeed. If you've never searched ebay for something you needed, I think you have missed out.

Probably Gunbroker and Auction Arms. I've bought things from both sites, and as a shopper I prefer GB. I haven't sold there yet, so I can't say which is the more seller-friendly, but I'll likely try GB.

As a working gunsmith I use to consider ebay a great resource....Now finding obsolete parts just became a fair bit harder. Steve

Hansti:
Thanks for calling my hand on it and pointing me toward the straight and narrow. Truly, I have missed out then. I would say that they world is becoming smaller by the minute and being contained in a little black electronic box in your home. In all, don't forget your salutations.

I'm still at a loss: what infraction has ebay committed? Gun owners unite. If gun owners don't dicate policy, other's will do it for you, but not in your best interest.

The knowledgable gun folks will find a new place to exchange parts. IMO the impact of e-bay's new policy will be the estate-closers and garage sale types. Those people will probably be putting parts in the dumpster.
