Man, I hate to reveal my potential stash, but I think I won't be utilizing a 6.5x52R after all....Ray's Hardware and Sporting Goods in Dallas Tx has 7 or 8 boxes of new Norma brass in 6.5x52R in their reloading section marked $23. Is that a good price. Appears to have been priced long ago.

As far as I can tell, most (likely all) the ammunition listed by Steve comes in Boxer primed cases and are perfectly re-loadable, using American components. I guess now there aren't many of us "old farts" left that even remember Berdan primed cases. At one time Boxer primed cases in rimmed metric calibers would have been "worth their weight in gold". Correct, Boxer primed. I have never seen Berdan except for a few old shells I shot and them could not de-prime. On one the punch made a new hole...

Steve to deprime Berdan type primers you need a special tool such as an old German one from EBAY or similar site, or a modern American one as sold by Huntington and similar suppliers, or a homemade one similar to a toothpick with a chisel point. Some of us old guys still load old stocks of Berdan primed cases, but Berdan primers are becoming harder to find. I have had some of mine for 53 years and they were old then. Buy every noncorrosive (RWS) Berdan primer you can find "on speculation"'. Mike

i use the *modern* German one, a base-mounted lever contraption with a thin asymmetrical primer ejection rod. Made by Erich Bischof I think, marketed via Frankonia a few years ago.

Berdan primers from RWS, from eGun, or from Murom.

When I started reloading Berdan around 1960 I just used a sharp ice pick. I seem to remember having an RCBS decapper around here somewhere from the 1970s. The last Berdans I reloaded were 8.15x46R and I used a de and re capper I picked up at an antique shop 25 or 35 years ago that was just marked 8mm.

Does anyone have a lead on where to get ammo or brass for the 9.3X65R Collath? Asking for a friend.
