If you were really disparaging just one person, then why bring up the degree thing at all?

But I do hear what you say about all of these college professors who teach topics such as
'' Density dependence in wildlife populations and why we should hate america''

Followed by

'' Predator prey coexistence dynamics and why we should hate america''

'' And of course, the now outlawed topic,

''Biological diversity and why we should hate america''

Yep, that's exactly what goes on at every university in america.

It looks like the Nutty Professor is off his meds again.

That isn't what Perry said... not even close. Easy to see why his "Rate My Professor" rating was lowest among his peers at ISU... But it does appear that Perry's comment hit a little close to home.

Anyway... Hill's Micro Welding has gotten very good reviews here and on other firearms forums for their laser welding. Fortunately, most of the damage to this gun has not extended into the engraving. And little case color remains. So it should be relatively easy to fill in and dress down without the additional expense of chasing engraving and refinishing.

Hill's contact info is 1134 Water St, Meadville, Pennsylvania, 16335, United States. (814) 336-4511. They had an active website with photos of their work, but it doesn't seem to be working.

That's a long way from Alaska, but I think I recall you saying you'll be moving to the CONUS in the near future.

Just curious, what's the difference between a 10 bore rifle and a 10 bore slug gun? The case length?

It seems I have touched a nerve when talking about college professors Brent. You know as well as I do that I am not talking about all of them. Yet you choose to rant over my post. Well just go on and rant. It is not worth my time arguing with you. Have a good day anyway professor. I will go back to ignoring your posts.

Ryan, i'm afraid you're wasting time asking questions about guns in another of this current storm of political pissing matches....

Actually graybeardtmm3, some of us are able to walk and chew gum at the same time. However, it was your fellow Liberal the Nutty Professor who twisted Perry's words and made it political. Thanks to both of you for your contribution to the topic.

To answer Ryan's question... A ten bore rifle has rifled bores, and is typically shot with the correct size grease groove or paper patch bullets. Round balls may be used too if the twist rate is suitable. A ten gauge slug gun may be a smoothbore, used with traditional rifled slugs. The slug has integral flights that impart spin for stability. However, there are also slug barrels with rifling that are designed to be used with a saboted slug. The rifling in the latter imparts spin to the sabot and slug, and the sabot falls away as it leaves the muzzle.
