Good morning:
Does anyone happen to know if there are or who may hold the records of the SKB guns imported and marketed by the Ithaca Gun Company?
A look at the Cody site does not list them. I recall reading some years ago that they had been lost, but new information shows up all of the time.

Do not know about the actual records but I just threw out a bunch of skb stuff. Owners manuals, warranty cards, tags,
Not sure if I still have anything else.
I had posted some stuff on the for sale website here and got no interested so gave some to a friend and pitched some.

Guns Unlimited in Omaha became the SKB importer after Ithaca, and they have no records of the Ithaca guns https://www.skbshotguns.com/owner-support/ithaca-catalogue-library This was posted on Shotgun World "All of Ithaca's records for this line were turned over to the ATF during a bankruptcy in the 80's." Are you interested in a specific model? I have a few Stoeger catalog pages listing the Ithaca SKBs from 1969 - 1978 when they were listed as SKBs.

No, I was just curious if there were surviving records. I heard two different endings. One was that when the original SKB closed, their records were sent to the Japanese government. The other story being that they were lost.

Just an FYI, Guns Unlimited, inc is no longer affiliated with SKB, SKB is still headquartered in Omaha, however. Their guns are now made in Turkey.

Are the turkish guns made on the japanese blueprints? Is there still a model 100 plain Jane side by side, just like the older ones?

No, the Turkish guns are wholly different than the Ithaca/SKB SXS or OU.
