This is getting out of hand, it's very ''Simple'' if you live in a ''good state'' ''Red'', Cabebl's is pro gun' If you live in a ''bad state'' ''Blue'', Cabela's will tend to be anti- gun. There you have it. Before Bass pro took them over, they were always pro gun ! I think their policy on guns changes from State to State. In a blue state they will ban you from buying a gun , FOR LIFE'' for making a simple mistake on their forms they require you to fill out when buying a gun. They will not let you correct it nor will they tell what the mistake was. Now if that is not being anti gun, then I don't know what is.
Dirty Harry There's no such thing as red states or blue states. The entire idea is a false construct created by our politicians and media to keep Americans angry at people in other states that they don't know, and never will. Choosing to characterize all of the people of an entire state - the smallest one of which has a population of around 600,000 as just one thing is the worst and most ignorant kind of rhetoric, and it has one purpose: to keep Americans angry at each other for the benefit of a very, very few. People pushing such a narrative, or even passing it on are the problem.

Bass Pro/Cabela is a business and I doubt the shooting aspect of the business comes even close to bringing in a lot of money.
The lawyers are going to do whatever they can to minimize the company's liability, especially when it comes to firearms and if that means not selling as many guns and related items or driving customers away, so be it. Lawyers roles - like accountants - within a truly high performing business are advisory. They're not decision makers. Any business that drifts that way, for either, is no longer high performing. Focus #1 is take care of your people. They will, in turn, take care of your customers. You won't know where to put all the money...

I don't know the first Republican/conservative who thinks that all of the citizenry in a blue state are all Democrats or liberals. The term was coined as a description of a state that has traditionally voted Republican or Democrat. Not the individuals, but the state as a whole.
I make my mind up about people according to how they conduct themselves and how they voice their opinions, not according to whether or not they live in a traditionally red or blue voting state.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

Right...and it's complete nonsense, created with the purpose stated above. I make my mind up about people according to how they conduct themselves and how they voice their opinions, not according to whether or not they live in a traditionally red or blue voting state. Yessir. That's the way adults do it. Ranting children who willingly get duped into following the lead of politicians and media who want to keep us angry and divided (most at people we've never met) for their own benefit deserve to be treated like ranting children.

Great point! We have a lot of such problem people here on DGF. It's not just here; there's a lot of them everywhere. That the numbers of people willing to let themselves be used as puppets by our political class, and media are so great is disappointing.

You know the saying, "Work Local. Think Global". We have a huge number of puppets here.

Right on. That’s how I decided you, Ted and canvasback are three of the biggest goofs on this board. ______________________________ MSFT earnings coming up. Good luck everyone.
