Last time I tried this here with an Elsie it was an education of sorts. I'm wondering if American hammerguns are similarly affected these days?

It's been quite the process to get this one sorted out. My original plans for it were as a fun clays gun but since I've replaced it with a much heavier version (my 32-inch doublebreach Ithaca NIG) it has become somewhat surplus to needs.
D model 12-bore, 30-inch two bar damascus tubes with good thickness and clean bores, mod chokes in both, and w/a strong damascus pattern on them still, shallow pistol grip, good LOP (14 1/2?) and very shootable dimensions. Lots of visible repairs on the lower stock jaws but w/no obvious issues after several hundreds of rounds through it. Not terribly heavy, 7 3/4 lbs or so.
Terry Nicholson went completely through it last year and it's now ready for another 125 years of service. You don't see these very often.
$1,500 plus shipping and insurance to your FFL (sadly, not pre-1899).
