Hello all
As a personal project, I want to make a replica of an era Best Oak ad Leather Case, following the old style where the wood is visible, not like modern ones where all is covered in leather, fully personalized to my needs and gun measures.
So far I already have the interior lining (burgundy premium wool), the leather (premium 0,9mm cow leather) and the oak wood.
I have access to a perfect condition case, but I cant see the wood construction and of course I am not going to remove lining or leather, so I was searching someone that may have a worn original case where the construction is visible that could share with me (with us) some photos.
Maybe there is a post, blog of website that shows the process of refitting leather to an original case.
I can always guess how the construction is, but would be better if I can see an original one to replicate it.
This is the original case construction I want to replicate.
