I did not take any pics of the process on this one, the labels are excellent quality reproductions made by a friend and board member, H&H oil bottle and turnscrews. I moved several partitions, made a couple, cut the notch for the sling swivel, did some baize repair here and there. I'm enjoying the case work and plan to do more.

I reused the original baize wherever I could, new was used around the oil bottle, it came from Peter Dyson.

Case work is especially rewarding. The wool is readily available here in the US as well as Dyson. Abbey England has brass locks, corners, et al.

Fantastic work Steve, nothing like reusing and restoring those cases. I love the patina and smell of those old ones.

Currently I am working on restoring a double case but in much much worst condition..... All case oak corners where broken, and leather has many rips. I have to try to fit new leather patches

The case will be used on a pair of Víctor Sarasqueta shotguns There vas no original label, so I have been scanning very old catalogues, and made my own version of what I think could be a nice case label. The design is already done, just need to print it. It would be great help if your friend makes a post with the process of printing and aging the paper label.

Some photos of my project can be seen here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/6Nd0h1r

looks like you've done some incredible restoration on that case. Thanks for sharing the pictures
