First Stop Guns-Grand Rapids, SD- featured in Guns International

I had not seen one of these just like this, and I began to wonder. It seems well preserved and the bore is allegedly in good shape.
Not the full Mannlicher carbine so famous at the turn of the last century and carried by WMD "Karamoja" Bell in Africa and Sheldon in Alaska.. This appears like a sporting rifle with Zeiss -Jena scope.
Very nicely finished with a reasonable price. The question is for anyone wishing to view it or make further inquiries- Is it in fact as original as it looks for a 1903 in 6.5x54? My second-source photo posting skills are challenged...

I have not seen one configured exactly like that before.

My impression is that it has been shortened on both ends. That stock is very short. I've also never seen a crescent buttplate on an M/S. The front sight ramp is missing so the barrel was probably shortened too.

I'd stay away from that one. Trigger looks off also.

Ahhhh....no. I agree with Hammer and Mike. Too much wrong with it. It doesn't look very original to me.

I just saw this but I my first take was the same as the later posts. The butt is short and weird and the finish doesn't match the rest of the gun. My guess was the butt ws whacked off and a really weird buttplate added, then the butt back of the PG sanded and refinished. It looks smoother, more polished and newer than the rest. The fore end was probably just whacked off. I have owned quite a few original Mannlichers and never had a trigger that looked like that. It resembles an Enfield in many ways.
