Known by many as the fellow who really knew and worked on LC Smiths for years. Passed this week after being placed in Hospice. Jerry was also the founder and a member of the Crandall Creek Band who played some outstanding Blue Grass. He worked on a few of my guns over the years. I'll miss the conversations. Loved to fish with the grandkids, work on shotguns and play the Guitar. https://crandallcreek.com/abouthttps://lcsmithguns.com/

Sad to hear. I didn't know him personally, but I bought two Syracuse Lefevers from him, and he invited me to his shop to examine another. We had a nice conversation about doubles. He was a straight shooter, and had an excellent reputation when it came to gunsmithing on L.C. Smiths and other SxS guns.

Jerry fought cancer for five years before it bested him. Quite a warrior.
May he rest in peace.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

May he rest in peace. I talked to him a few years ago and he thought he had beat it. Cancer is tough. Lost my MIL to Liver cancer some years ago and it was brutal.

I didn't know him, but I am truly sorry that you gentlemen lost a friend. He sounds like a wonderful person. God Bless.

Terrible and sad news, a knowledgeable man - we traded thoughts and words in email and on phone, he knew his stuff . Travel light Jerry

Maybe more than three decades ago, it was Jerry who had the Lard patent single trigger figured out. I did not know anyone else, at that time, who could routinely be trusted to fix those triggers.
