A very happy Father's Day to all the dads on this forum. I will have a great day today, starting with my oldest grandson and his wife being baptized at our worship service this morning. My oldest son and his wife are here with us from Arizona for a visit, and the entire family will have lunch at a local restaurant after church.

This afternoon I plan to spend some time on the river with both my sons, riding in our boats and hanging out at a sandbar, soaking up some rays.

May God bless all you diligent and loving fathers. Hope you have a wonderful day. And, thank You, Heavenly Father for life and family, and another year.

For a lot longer than I care to admit, I’ve been going to the Blind Lizard Father’s Day picnic, on Nicollet Island. The Blind Lizards were a motorcycle club based in Minneapolis back in the day. All but one of the original “Lizards” have met their reward, but, their heirs put on a fine antique motorcycle/antique bicycle show and picnic on Father’s Day. My wife will vote for “El Tigre” in the Colombian election today, and join me with the boy at the picnic, after that.
It appears the weather will be great.
