I don't think the term "Lieferanten" on the Springer means manufacturer, rather I think it means "deliverer" (dealer). Markings on the rifle (other than re-proofs, if found) have little meaning concerning the 6.5x70R liner. Absent re-proofs, when and where the liner was installed cannot be determined.

He doesn't come to mind, but with the availability of ammo so scarce, it would seem the Austro-Hungarian Empire has the components.

I have only seen 1/2 dozen to a dozen rifles chambered in 6.5X70R, almost all were either from Ferlach or the mechanics in the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

The Preliminary Data String values are what the final stamps are, just from 1910:

I had mentioned it about a month ago, in passing:

Julius Springer was not a mere Hoflieferant (purveyor to the Court), of which there were thousands in Austria-Hungary. He was a KAMMERLIEFERANT, who comprised a very tiny number altogether, and as such he was, in a way, more aristocratic than many courtiers.

Let me exemplify it a bit more colourfully:
Anybody who delivers toilet paper and toilet brushes of the Hofburg, to attend to the large amount of shit from the large workforce of the court, can be a Hoflieferant. But only a Kammerlieferant can knock at the august private rest room door and ask the Emperor to finish his solitary session, so that he may come in and change the toilet paper roll.

I have searched the tubes, water-table, locks ad nauseum & I can find a Preliminary Datastring = Final Datastring as far as diameters.

There is an Imperial Eagle with a 3 on the breastplate stamped on one flat.

On the other flat is the Vejprty Coat of Arms and the German phrase >>NICHT FÜR KUGEL<<

I just cannot find a Weipert/Vejprty Nitro stamp nor the Preliminary script EW stamp. But there are German stamps on at least one tube and with the Schilling Forge involved there must have been a Crown over G that was worked off.

I do wonder if those numbers >>.62<< & >>.63<< below the >>.450<< were to note a date or length in mm.

Another diameter of note is the diameter on the Preliminary Datastring being that of the 6,5X70R. On the ones I have viewed, the diameter value in mm varies from 6.0-6.3.
