Guys, I was doing a little internet surfing last night and came across the Macnab Highlander O/U's on Macnab's site http://www.macnab.co.uk.Anyone know who makes these for Macnab? They've got italian type barrel selectors and safeties. The Boxlock looks a lot like Beretta et al. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, Josh

MacNab Highlanders are Italian, made by Arietta.
The Lowlander is Spanish.
The side-by-sides are made by Arrietta and by Sciacci in Italy.

Soory, Dig, Arrieta does not make O/u guns. The highlander is made by Rizzini.

I must have got my wires crossed - I was talking to the owner of MacNab today and I THOUGHT that was what he told me - doh!

Dig, if it were Italian it wouldn't be Arrieta and if it were Arrieta it wouldn't be Italian, :-)

I think you will find they may be made by FAIR which is a co-operative in the Gardone valley North of Brescia Fabbricca Arma I Rizzini I forget what the 'I' stands for but you can bet B Rizzini is involved somewhere along the line. Dig I am surprised you were talking to the British Mcnab guy? You must have rung him because he doesn't return calls even when you want to give him business! I am not talking about Patrick Keen by the way.

They sure look like the Rizzini B line - I don't think the round body gun is offered by the other similarly framed Italian Mfgrs (FAIR, CG, or The 3 Chicks)
