Looks like this batch must have been a whole bunch of straight grip, double trigger guns. Congrats.

It's interesting that the checkering does not look anything like the laser burnt black that I saw on early guns. The wood grain shows thru like cut checkering. Nice looking gun. Congrats.

Very nice. I would say, IMHO, that the case colored receiver was definitely the way to go. Enjoy!

Congratulations Stever, that's a nice lookin' toy. That was quiet a long time to wait, and yes I know I'm preaching to the choir on that point.
Shoot it well and have fun with it, you deserve it after waiting so long! Thanks for the pics.

That is a great looking gun.
I have not handled an RBL. That said, I think they LOOK very nice have attractive specifications. Most of all its great to see a gun like this made in America.
I have also not handled a Marlin "LC Smith". That said, I would gladly pay up for one of Tony's guns before I'd own some Turkish knock-off that has nothing to do with the proud American gun for which it is named.
Congrat.s Steve and good work Mr. Galazan.

Just picked mine up today.
Took a while to get the FFL and shipping worked out. Mine looks like a twin of the pictures you posted. Didn't upgrade the wood, but got some very nice figure on dark walnut. Mine was paid in full late December 2005 and my serial number is 0015XX. Going to oil up the barrels, clean off the preservative grease on the action and take to the skeet field as soon as I can.
Anyone know what kind of preservative they put on the guns? It is kind of wax like. Wouldn't mind putting it on some of my other guns that don't get the use they deserve.

Carol says mine's "still on the floor". Wish they'd put it on the bench. End of the production line is looking nice, this time it looks like my purchase waffling was a good thing.

Carol say mine's "still on the floor". Same here. Should be about two more weeks for my PIF 12/05 order. I hope my 3X wood looks just like Stever's. Mine will be French Gray with straight grip, and I'm already planning to buy an extra trigger guard (if they will sell it to me) or have my TG blued. My early opinion (without gun in hand) is that a blued TG will look a lot better on the gray grame. Wish now that I had ordered CC.

That's why I never buy first generation anything. Let them get the bugs and production mistakes worked out on the early stuff, then I might consider buying afterwards.
