I have an opportunity to purchase a Grulla 209 Holland 20G and wanted some opinions about this manufacturer and grade of gun. I don't know much about Grulla's and wanted to kow what folks think of them. I think I can get it for around $3,800 used. It's case colored and has a nice piece of wood. Buy????

Hi, as you may know this maker is one of the best in Spain. The model you want is one of the better models (couple steps below the Royal). Price is a good one, of course alot depends on gauge and the features of the gun and the overall condition.

The bottom line is like anything else..if you want it and like it ...get it. As I said the price is a good one.

I have a Grulla 215 12 ga duck gun and I love it! $3800 sounds good if the condition is ok. They are very nice guns.

Grulla's are good guns. I had a 216RB and the fit and finish was very nice. The 209 is not a high end model, but it is a good solid gun. I looked at many Spanish guns before I ordered my Grulla and they were the most consistent as far as quality and finish.

My hunting partner shoots a very pretty Grulla, and has been quite pleased with it. He has probably used it for the past 5+ seasons. I'm not sure what model 12 gauge it is.
