Hi everyone! Just joined the forum and just want to tell all of you how neat it is to see a group of people that have so much collective knowledge for us newcomers to pick from!! Anyway, I'm wondering about a recent purchase. I recently picked up a Laurona 71 O/U (imported by Sears) and I am wondering how much any of you guys know about them. I have read many very favorable reviews of them and have yet to come across anyone that thinks poorly of them. My thinking is this : For a gun that is over 30 years old and still brings in up to $500 for mint condition and $400 for 98% (thats where I would rate mine) based on the Blue Book, it must be a fine shotgun. If any of you have one or know of anyone else that does, any information on it like shooting steel shot, quality or anything else, for that matter, would be appreciated.

THANKS A BUNCH!!

Hi, BigMike!

Welcome to the BBS.

Since no one has responded thus far, how about contacting the mfg. with your questions @ http://www.laurona.com in Eibar, Spain.

Laurona is a middle to low end Spanish manufacturer, these guns can be considered as reliable work horses with few problems, robust in construction, but lacking in quality detailing, there are plenty of them here in Australia and they perform well
