I feel like a spaztic but I can't seem to get bolts out of either the Mod 12 or the 870. Any help would be most appreciated. Quailman 85749@hotmail.com

Gil if it were me and it has been, I'd never take a bolt out of a model 12 because of the difficulty of putting the kicker leaf spring in the trackway alongside back later. Only one episode in my history of spazzing but a memorable one. There are several illustrated desciptions in gunsmithing books about how to get the bolt out so you can face worse challenges later.

You have to remove the ejector on a model 12. Tweezers work for me. On the 870, I recall holding the shell stop over(maybe both stops), or something similar.
