Thank you to all our men and women who are serving or have ever served this country, helping to make it what it is. I was trying to forward a URL to a Ford commercial in this vein but it didn't seem to work: SoldierFord.wmv

Called both my father and father in law to thank them for their service. Do it each year and they get a kick out of it but know the message is real. Thanks to them I did not have to learn German as a second or primary language. Funny thing is that both were East coast boy who ended up in the Pacific. An uncle, who lived in California at the time, ended up in Europe.
Dad still does not buy Japanese goods but likes rice, Father-in-law likes Japanese goods but hates rice to this day. They both agree that they would have been dead if the Bomb had not been used. Both were getting ready to land on the home islands when it was dropped.
