Just saw this on the Parker forum. It may not be cheaper than bismuth or tungsten matrix, but they are reloading a wide selection of sane loads; 2" and 2 1/2" in light loads as well as 16 and 28 ga. http://www.rstshells.com

Some additional informations:
1) Kent Tungsten Matrix 12ga 2 1/2 28 gram loads are same price from Ballistics Products as the Nice Shot loads from RST. Probably not much difference in use.
2) RST claims to be loading "Nice Shot", NOT ecotungsten. I understand ecotungsten to be some variant of HeviShot and not clearly suitable to use in pre 1940 doubles, no matter what the hype says. Nice Shot seems to be some variant of Tungsten Matrix.

I see that the 10 and 12 ga. are available now, any idea on the 16 ga, or if there is any other source for 2.5" 16 ga. non-toxic shells.

Niklas, "Nice Shot" is ecotungsten shot. Check out their website to see http://www.ecotungsten.com/shots.html?

Joe, thanks for the correction. I now have put Nice Shot on the "No-No" list for my early 1900s doubles. Given the ingredients listed, I doubt it is safe for tight-choked old doubles.

I will keep buying Bismuth and Kent T-M. Hopefully, Eley will increase its production of bismuth alloy shots and loaded ammo. They list bismuth loads on the Eley Hawk webbsite but, I can find none for sale.

Niklas
