Got a question for you guys. Did Manufrance offer a single non-selective trigger for their shotguns? I ran across this sample and wanted to know if this is factory? If it is, what kind of mechanism is it and is it reliable? All help welcomed.

Even though MF made single triggers on their late O/U model, I have not seen or heard of a single trigger on the Robust. None of my MF catalogs (up to 1980) mention it.
I vote for an aftermarket.
Your Robust model # and SN would shed some light on its birthdate.

thanks. I suspected that to be the case. I am trying to find my wife another 16 gauge Robust and ran across this one. Robusts are pretty hard to find in decent condition that some one hasn't tried to "upgrade". I think I will pass. I don't want to mess with a after market trigger. I think that is asking for trouble.
