Chuck,

Barrel is a Lothar Walther. I didnt do the barrel work on this one. Jim Dubell did the barrel install this time. I used to do my own barreling but since I no longer have a lathe its simpler to farm it out rather than buy a new lathe and all the tooling. Maybe next year I will think about getting a lathe.

Bill,

That is a beautiful rifle. I don't magine that it comes in a left hand model. What do you use for left hand bolt actions? Do you do any single shot rifles?

For lefties? Well, thats tough. There are a very few model 70's out there. Its a challenge to get a left hand rifle off the ground because actions can be tough to find. I have done single shots, havent done one in a couple years. IIRC the last one I did was a Ruger.

Speaking of left hand bolts, what about the Montana Rifle Company action?

Bill, yours is a beautiful rifle indeed.

Kind regards,
Jani

Bill, Did you float the barrel or bed it the whole length of the stock? Jake

Jakearoo,

The barrel channel was inlet full contact. I do not believe in free floating barrels on hunting rifles unless the customer specificies it. I have yet to stock a rifle that would not shoot MOA or better when bedded this way.
