Jeff, now I remember your beautiful gun! It was a rather long post and the mystery was never solved. I even remember doing some digging up through various Italian web pages and coming up with a blank.
I didn't remember you getting it but it is undoubtedly a fantastic acquisition. Congratulations on your taste.
I have flight reservations to attend my sons graduation next June, so I may take you up on your offer. I'd also like to visit someone near you with a Famars Castore that I would very much enjoy shooting, :-)

I will be handling those 3 fine A&S guns on sunday as well as his newer Ideal aquistion (he does have some fine guns). Let me know of your plans and lets set something up. I don't recall where your son is at school but isn't it one of the Ivys? I have also done some digging on the Fabbrizioli so far to no avail. I am very happy with the gun and was able to buy it at a reasonable price after the seller realized it was not going to bring in the $ he wanted, it really is a beauty. Jeff G.

-Ideals now? Wow, his collection approaches what I would like to have!
-Once again the sage adage is confirmed: "Buy the gun not the name"
-Jr is graduating from two Masters Degrees from Harvard, an MBA and an MPA, so you can imagine I am somewhat proud. I'll have to get in shape to run from one School to the other as the ceremonies are almost simultaneous.
Best,
JC

Wow an MBA& MPA from Harvard you have done well (as has he) you should be very proudindeed, my cousin graduated 4 th in class about 5 years ago at Harvard on a full scholarship and I am still very impressed with that.
His Ideal is a grade 6 just beautiful. His ee lefever is also stunning.
If at all possible lets get together I am sure we can find some where a little south of Harvard to shoot & we will come the few hours north with a selection of shotguns to shoot.
All the best and congratulations on your sons successes, Jeff G.

JayCee, Now there's something to celebrate: The End of Tuition !
All kidding aside, what an academic accomplishment for your son. Now the finest corporate and private doors rightfully open for him and the handful of his peers to continue their achievments.
Congratulations to your whole family. Unless he's going for his Doctorate.

Jeff and Bruce, thank you for your kind words, but the achievement is of course 99% his.
In spite of some interesting offers he already has he has decided to come back to the local company that gave him all the support for his studies even though they gave him total freedom.
I consider myself a proletarian as in : -ORIGIN Latin proletarius (from proles 'offspring'), denoting a person without wealth, who served the state only by producing offspring. I have been blessed with half a dozen wonderful offspring!
