Look at ad number 955528997(Guns America) and see what you think. The gun pictured should sell for over $20,000 in my estimation. I saw a similar ad for a Kreighoff from a NY seller in Dec. on GA at less than 10% of the value and asked the seller to call me. He sounded foreign and told me he was selling his deceased father's guns and that he did not like firearms. I told him any gun shop in New York City would give him his asking price. This seller is from Florida and joined GA 1/08.
If this is legitimate I would be surprised.

I complained to GA once and they pulled his ad's. He will not accept a bid. It's someone else's turn to turn him in.

You need to be very careful on GA whether on the buying or the selling side. On the average I get about two scam offers to buy every month. Usually they want to send more than the purchase price & want me to ship the gun & the extra money to a middleman. Most of these originate from the UK by Nigerians. They will even send an official looking cashier's check.

On the selling side, as in the foregoing, they offer a gun at a ridiculously low price & want the money up front. Of course you never get the gun. GA has been good about terminating the scammer's account when I report this to them at: customerservice@gunsamerica.com. Michele ususlly responds & tells me that that account has been terminated.

You can usually detect these scam artists by their misspelling, calling the gun an "item", and displaying a general lack of knowledge about what they are buying or selling. BE CAREFUL!

Hi, I went to the ga web site and looked and sure enough it was there. I then went to the krieghoff listing and low and behold, there was a krieghoff double rifle in 470 ne for $1500.00 as well. It was the same person selling both. About a hour later both the listings are gone. Deal since the begining of time, or the greatest scam of all time.

I was researching .470 Nitro loads for my new K gun. You mean I can slow down on that project??

You guys that are current with your accounts on GA may want to drop them another line on the new Beretta 471 for $1200 and the new 686 Onyx for $1000 listed by an "Aaron Brit". Smells like the bottom of a tuna boat to me.
