OP Reh Boxlock Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 6	A friend of mine has a Baker with a two digit serial number of 77. Looks original, in nice shape. Has damascus barrels, some nice engraving and nice wood.Bore looks great. I was hoping someone would know when the gun was made, and was kind of grade it could be. Thanks in advance Robert

You'll note that the early Baker hammerless guns had one pin on the lockplate The later guns had three pins The Double Gun Journal Vol 14 No. 4 had a serial number listing.
