Those that hunt and shoot Fox guns should check this. Time to get your practise in on what Nash called the tall ones. Will the real Bo whoop make it out of the vault? The Fox Collectors group seems to be getting their stuff together. http://foxcollectors.com/My%20Forum/phpB...1247591019b68dd

I disagree. price is well in line with Long birds at clay tournaments. Have you ever shot any? Where you you think the purse $ and $ for the trophy comes from?

Clay targets cost six cents each. There is no need whatever to charge two dollars for them. At half the price they would have more than twice the entries, and everyone could have fun.
I don't shoot exclusive events, because of a silly belief that shooting should be inclusive.
Attend, have fun, and enjoy. I wouldn't be there if it was next door to me.

I would think its a fund raiser with the proceeds going to help the new association in its continued A.H. Fox research. If you just want to shoot there are places that charge just $4 a round for trap or wobble but that really doesn't help further the objectives of the Fox collectors.
Kind of like the HOAL/Fisher House raffle........unless you win you don't get anything tangible. Value is not always measured in dollars and I've found that its often the intangibles that enrich your life.

I agree with all that, Bob. I've attended charity shoots, and anytime a club has a shoot other than a practice day it's a fund raiser of sorts. No problem. Publish the program and the tariff and let the shooters decide. Exactly that will happen at this event.

I guess it wasn't about offering "constructive criticism" afterall.

Jimmy,
It's the most famous of Fox guns....and it's missing. Some want to know where Jimmy Hoffa is. Some want to know where Amelia Earhart is. Some would rather know where Bo-Whoop is.
Follow the link in the first post.
