I am in the market for a sxs that I can use for clay targets, not a hunting gun. The Poli seems to fit the bill. Right weight for less recoil, nice wood, right stock dimensions, plus the screw in chokes that will enable me to use it for different events. So, other than I know the dealer, Cole Guns, is very reputable, I have no first hand knowledge of the gun. Anyone have one and can relay any information. Or, are there other makes I should consider? Thanks

Marlin just came out with a S/S, lc Smith. It might be a good reasonable single trigger shotgun. I sure like my .444 lever action.

Currently own two Morgan cars. Starting on Black Powder hunting to advoid the mob of riflemen.

I bought a Poli Upland Extra in 20 gauge that I use mostly for skeet and occasionally sporting clays. I custom ordered it through Coles. It's been an excellent gun!

I have a Marlin brochure and had looked at them. Biggest problem I see is that at a listed weight of 6 1/4 pounds with 28 inch barrels, its going to have a lot more recoil than I want for clay targets. Lots less money than the Poli though.
