I got a 1928 lc smith , the barrels are moved about 1/4 inch at the end. Is this a job any gunsmith can do, or am I going have to send off.

I don't know from your description of location if this could be done localized or demands a full-dress strip and relay of ribs but whatever you do, don't undertake any stopgap repairs with miracle adhesives as, if it doesn't hold, you WILL need the whole Magilla which the value of the Smith may not warrant. Maybe Mike Orlen will happen along to suggest whether the repair can be confined to the area where the ribs and barrels have already parted company. Double your pleasure; double your gun.
