That would be "Mossberg" to you, Brokeback. The kids usually shoot clay pigeons.

Thanks again, but just to clarify, mine's not a CZ (Huglu) at all, but a Yildiz. You might not like it; while it does have exceptional wood and is very light (5.4 lbs), it is a single trigger. I believe you're referring to the 2nd post that just shows the stock, right? The first gun is a Huglu, but it's a De Haan SGr, and did cost quite a bit more.

Just saw on SGW where they are trying to get an ILMCZ section started but need at least 10 interested in it to consider it.

Lads, I shot the CZ Bobwhite last weekend. Only 2 boxes but it worked fine. I have yet to prove that it's reliable but don't think I'm gonna be disappointed. Chops

Give it a little more time. I'm sure it won't be long before it has shot loose and one or more of the triggers no longer functions as it should. ;-)

Well, Snipe Hunter, since your first post questioned whether anything mattered besides personal bias, I must ask you this:
have you seen any shot loose Bobwhites or other CZ Huglus? Witnessed any trigger malfunctions? It seems to me, a novice of 72 years, that the simple mechanics of an A&D boxlock with conventional double underlug and sliding bolt lockup would be unlikely to shoot loose in normal use. Also the very conventional trigger, hammer, and sear arrangement which is standard on most boxlock guns is unlikely to give much trouble. Your bias is showing, young friend. I swallowed mine in my first helping of Turkish Crow Dinner. Chopper

Dang it Chopper, I tried to make a wink at the end of my post. Where are the emoticons when you need them? You started another thread titled "C/Z Bobwhite by Huglu" a couple of weeks ago. It is now buried on page 8. Have a look there to see how I replied to your inquiry. You are not the only one to have served yourself a helping of Turkish Crow.
