Friend of mine just ordered his a couple of weeks ago and he was told the same thing. No more RBL orders after the end of 2006. He was provided with a rather vague, one year delivery. I suspect it's going to be a lot longer wait than that.

My understanding is that date was the last day for the introductory ordering. Soe have heard that a price increase will occur and other have heard that is the end of all orders. Be interesting to find out who is right.

On a visit to CSMC a couple of weeks ago Lou told me that the "RBL" will continue but it would be something totally different. I had many questions for Lou's comment but to all of my questions Lou would answer "I don't know yet". I am sure that there will be all kinds of speculation as to where they are going next. For what ever this is worth Lou showed me what was supposed to be the frame casting for the RBL. When I conpared it the the finished frame I asked him why they started with a casting that was so large just to machine away all of this material. Typical Lou, "I don't know". A few minutes later hes brought out a different casting that was much closer to the finished frame size. He took the larger frame back into the shop and said that I was not supposed to see that. Maybe the next RBL is going to be a 10-ga. water fouler. The frame casting I saw was plenty big enough for a 10-ga.

Steve Lamboy's last prototype before ICD went under was a Mag Ten. I was very disappointed. The RBL Mag Ten may be my new dream gun. I still have my ICD Mag Ten order. Maybe I'll just change the address and send it to Tony.

You know what happens when they discontinue a popular gun in the US? Everyone wants one, a good ploy?
