I would think that acraglas sold by Brownells would be good. Although I've never made such a repair, I know that most who have a reputation for high quality work make sure that any oil that has soaked into the wood is completely removed before bonding and in most cases use dowels and/or metal reinforcing pins (and other shapes when needed) to add strength to the repair.
