I don't know what the heck you are babbling about, 775, but I agree 100%. I don't know how many people in my life I have had ask me if I was paying attention to them. It almost got me fired a few times and I can't count how many women have asked me that question over the years. (I just love to take the ball and run with it) If you want to have some fun with a woman and drive her crazy, get in the habit of waiting til she is done talking and quickly ask a question back at her that has nothing to do with what she said. And when she screams, "DID YOU EVEN HER WHAT JUST I SAID?", repeat back to her the exact words she said and say, "See, I was listening!" After a few weeks of that, she'll be ready for the looney bin. Or better yet, when she is talking, just keep looking around the room, whistling, like you're not paying any attention to her. And when she asks you what she just said, repeat every word back to her exactly as she said it. After a while, you'll be blessed by never having to listen to her at all because she'll realize when she can't catch you at not paying attention to her, that she is totally inferior in intelligence to you. I guess I have had the knack for giving obnoxious women the ol' Heave Ho in the nicest ways over the years after asking her what I did wrong and having her scream at me that I always pay attention to her. Such is that grandeur life of Denny Crane. Mad Cow Extraordinare........:)

How can I delete the "IGNORE" function? I certainly will never use it and don't want to inadvertantly activate it.

You basically have to decide to "Ignore" it. If you choose to "Ignore" it you will not realize you are doing so you will be inadvertently ignoring what you have forgotten you chose to "Ignore". The beauty of this is after awhile you will be able to "Ignore" whole categories of things you never knew you wanted to ignore in the first place. You will become like a politician and only selectively remember what you promised and Ignore everything else. The beauty of this is you now have become a New Ager and truly ignorant and unaware of your surroundings. Jeff Cooper referred to this as being in condition "White"(Clueless).
After some consideration I've decided NOT to Ignore some of the crustier posters on this forum. They have a right to post there opinions even if they are Clueless.
