Hi all,

I had a fixed choke 28 ga. S x S which I wanted to have screw - in chokes installed. Well, after much searching and contemplating, and due to all the positive comments that I've read on this board about his work, I chose to send the bbls. to Mike Orlen.

And I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I sent the bbls. out to MA. from VA. and had them back in hand completed in 7 days total.

And what an outstanding job he did, the chokes sit perfectly flush with absolutely no sign of "gohsting" of the threads, as I've heard others have had happen to them when using other Gunsmiths.

Now this was done on my "El-Cheapo" beater Baikal that I use for chassin' Bunnies & Bushytails (no Upland Game in these parts)because I wanted more versatility than what the fixed chokes provided.

But the bbls. are in like new condition still and it looks great for what it is. You would really have to look hard to notice that it has the chokes.

I initially was looking for another set of bbls. with the chokes I wanted but they only make one configuration in the 28 ga. so I decided to go this route and glad I did. For the very reasonably price of $139.00 including return shipping, I had both tubes done along w/ purchasing 3 screw-in chokes which is essentially like having another gun to me.

If I ever was so inclined (which I don't think I ever will be) and wanted Screw-in chokes installed on my 98% 20 ga. Fox Sterlingworth, Mike would be the person that I would call.

Thanks Mike, in case you can't tell I'm happy with my gun
