Greg, better yet show us some pictures, I have a 20 VS made in 1947 and a 12 made in 1952. still trying to figure out the grade.

Folks might note that Cabellas changed their listing on the Victor Sarasqueta, that has been discussed. It is now listed as a 6E model. I think quite correctly. | | |

I was corrected on my listing of what I thought & bought for a 12E VS. Turns out it is a 6E but still a beautiful gun. It's hard for me to tell the different grades.

These are the pages I mentioned above. Wish I remembered who sent them. JC

Thanks JC for the great info, old gun catalogs and ads are just plain fun to read and look at.
 All the best!

Greg, you are welcome. 83.50 dollars in 1952 had the same buying power as 689.47 current dollars. This from Historical Currency Conversions . Of course it does not take into account the difference in the Spanish level of income from then until now. I estimate that in 1952, with shipping, handling and customs the 7E would have ended costing about $100.- or $825.72 current dollars; a good buy. JC

You wouldn't happen to have a pic in that catalog of the Model 14. I heard they are as rare as hen's teeth and all went to Franco and his henchmen in the early 1950.. Thanks
