I'm looking at a photo of an RBL with SST on the cover of a Galazan catalog. I'd describe it as being a sort of mid-position. (It's about the same position as Chuck's hammergun photo, above.) No way is it front; there would not be enough room for another trigger behind it. Nor, however, is it rear. I'm looking at two of my own guns, one DT and one ST (a Zoli-Rizzini A&F import). The latter has its ST in virtually the same position as the rear trigger on the DT gun. Very little room between it and the trigger guard.

I have no experience with RBL's other than having handled a few. I did speak to the owner of a fairly early 20ga with SST. The SST would not select. He sent it back to have it fixed and it still didn't select. There's always some edge in reliability, DT over ST, assuming we're talking the same gun.
