The guns are sold with specified LOP. This is the distance between the center of the trigger (front on a double trigger gun) and the center of the buttplate.

It matters not a hoot what the configuration of the stock is, or where the trigger guard is in relation to the trigger.

This is a specified, measured distance. The length of the stock will be such that this distance meets spec.

Simple as that.
