This will be my last post on this subject, by way of clarification. I contacted Mr. Deeble as a means of trying to establish a "point person" in the State of Montana, as we are in other states, to try to stay on top of proposed legislation affecting our ability to enjoy our passion for old guns. We, here in Kansas are trying to stay ahead of any legislation, so that if it does get enacted, maybe we can have at least a workable compromise. At no time, did I ask Mr. Deeble for any names, I dont care who they are. At that time I was unaware of his true purpose. It quickly became clear that he wasnt interested in anything but his own agenda. To be fair to BSUBA, they have done some good things over time. I am not sure that they havnt been sold a bill of goods by Deeble who is a past president of that organization. If we, all of us, are going to beat this stuff, we have to take on more than the deebles....Get active, beat them at their own game..I am now working with a former legislator/hunter in the State of Montana who doesnt have a biased agenda, and lives in Helena.
