Westley Richards made a dog's breakfast of some sleeving jobs they did in the '60s and '70s. you can see the line on this from ten yards away. They also tended to stamp their name and the word 'SLEEVED' on the tubes rather than hidden away on the barrel flats.

The original quality of the gun looks good but it is overpriced.Tig welding and re-bluing would do it a favour to disguise the sleeving.

Make sure the forend fits properly, as this is often a problem where barrels have not been fully struck up after sleeving.
