Chris,
Don't worry, I'll be ready for your 8 bore!... I'd love to shoot it.
Give me a call. I look forward to talking with you.

fascinating workmanship on the Lancaster. The oddest gun with different barrels that I ever came across was a Boss sidelever owned by a friend. It was blacked but some damascus could be seen through it s he deceided to have it browned. Bad mistake as one barrel was damascus and the other steel. He had to have it re-blacked again as it looked dreadful.
So, an 8 bore user out there! I have a double hammerless Joseph Lang with nitro proofed Damascus barrels. I use it for geese in Scotland where lead shot is still allowed for inland flighting over fields. Lagopus.....

Lagopus, I wish we could use the 8 for waterfowl, unfortunately a Federal ban from many years ago. I am a newbie to the 8ga. I hope to shoot some sporting clays with mine. The way I shoot, I need to throw out as much lead as possible! Chris
