I guess I'm even slower this morning...I just took GG's posts at face value as to what happened and his frustrations. Anything else about this being a different dog in a ring or a different ring musta been blocked by the internet gremlins or happened in another time zone.

There are 2 sides to every story.
It could be said the same of why a group wants to have a type of ammunition used by most hunters outlawed.
It is amazing that the said perpetrator of this "loss" was the same person who first raised alarm of this request for the study of an non existing problem. It does sound lie somebody is trying trash somebody.
It is unbelievable the things that are happening in Montana since it became retirement mecca.

Now Chuck I am going to spell it out for you before Phil jumps on you again. Some members here have the opinion that GrouseGuy is retaliating against gunsmith Robert Harris. A couple of days ago Robert Harris started a thread here about GrouseGuy's 'sportsman's group' requesting that the government of Montana start a study about eliminating lead shot in upland hunting. Now the sportsman group called it a request for a study about the impact of eliminating lead. I believe most members here saw it as promoting the elimination of lead shot in upland hunting in Montana. Chuck I will be out at the bird dog club tomorrow and will not be able to explain things to you. Best, Mike

Ok Treblig- My Bad-I just wanted to say that this ol' boy ain't shipping nuthin' of value-a gun case from Cabela's- yes- easily replaced-but a Boss 12 bore from their Gun Library outlet in EastBumbleBuck NE- I am driving out to get myownself- at $4.00 a gallon gas- as Ronald Reagan once said- "Trust is OK- but always cut the cards"
