Remember that SD&G always marketed and sold their Daly guns by model number, not grade. Some of the Daly guns were later grouped under umbrella terms like "diamond quality". One first introduced, the term "diamond quality" referred to a specific model (one harmless and one hammer gun model). However, the term "diamond quality" term was later applied to as many five different models marketed at the same time. While all these guns were technically of "diamond quality", there is big difference in the level of embellishment, and price, between a diamond quality model 225, for example, and the diamond quality model 375 at Ivory Beads.
