I just posted it as a newsy item. I've been underwhelmed by the Ruger shotguns from the beginning. Turning a mediocre Red Label on its side to call it a SxS didn't excite me, either. Now that they're in the $3000 area, there are thousands of old and new doubles available in that range, for my taste. And many appealing ones for less. I wonder if they'll be smart enough to offer two triggers this time.
Does anyone know why the Gold was stopped?
