I make 8 bore rounds for my Lang using the Remington Industrial cases. (There are 3 types and it is important to identify them as all give different ballistics). I use either Blue Dot or Vectan A0 powders and either felt or plastic Remington 8 bore wads. I would be happy to share information. A book to look out for is 8 Bore Ammunition by Douglas McDougall ISBN 0 9506710 3 7 This one is in hardback and is a reprint of the two original papercack volumes. Very useful as all loads recommended were submitted through the British Proof House for pressure testing. it might not be easy to locate copies but the effort may well be worth it. Lagopus.....
