I spoke to Lou about a 12ga target weight RBL a few months back at one of the shooting events. He said the only issue would be potential warranty expense for guns that would see much more use than 20ga and 28ga game guns. That being said I would be first in line for a modern day 12ga Super-RBL. Please Tony

Lou obviously isn't an engineer either. The design needs weight to be a good target gun, and any gun designer worthy of the name knows where to put the weight in a target gun.
How can a company spokesman not have a clue?

I just cleaned out the messages on the machine Sunday and there were no calls from Carol on my 28-gauge PIF 31 Oct 2007.

My source is very close to the source. I take their word for it.

If CSM is going to make a 12ga target gun, they will need to pay more attention to the chokes they supply. My late #19xx RBL 20 has a SK choke @ .000; IC @ .010; MOD @ .013 IM @ .025 and FULL @ .040. A couple of them are very coursely finished on the inside. The MOD is the only one near what I would expect. The SK and FULL are useless.

A "whole bunch" would be about 40ish.

HOLY ---- .040" is full+ on a 12 ga. I guess .040" constriction on a 20 ga. is a lot more than a "whole bunch"!! That probably produces patterns like my 100 yard .270 targets look like after shooting all morning!

I would give a 16 RBL serious consideration.
