One note on using buffer. It increases pressures in our testing and those done by Sherman Bell.

Personally, I've never needed buffer in my bismuth hand loads. But, I shoot over decoys.

King is correct. 7625 is great in warm weather, but when used in conjunction with the Rem SP12 wad in most straight walled hulls will result in excessive powder migration. This can cause bloopers in colder weather.

Longshot, Blue Dot and other slower burning flake powders are a better choice than 7625 in straight walled hulls.
