If Mr Harrison was selling this Smith to Mr Allen, you bet your bottom dollar, Mr Allen would have seen and made mention of these little cracks then... don't you think?
I think it is unfortunate that these things happen, but dealers might start to think twice before they screw someone out of shipping and handling and other odds and ends. They might get run through the internet gamet. On the flip side got to watch out for someone with an axe to grind trying to "get even" with a dealer whom they think did them wrong but really did not. It could be a dicey situation.
