Thanks for all the help, it is really appreciated!

The actual OD of the bushing, at the threads, is .307, and the bolt that I got is exactly the same, so I got lucky there. I wanted bushings that were strong enough, when I had to take a impact screwdriver to get it out, it won't bugger up like the only original I have that is complete. The other was broke into 3 pieces with about 40% of it remaining in the receiver, so I had to get the good one out to measure for the replacement, and it got pretty buggered up in the process, but I just finished off what sombody else gave up on.

The only good piece that remains from all the original parts is 1 firing pin. So, that begs the question, being that this gun was made in 1894, do you use the 1 original part, or make 2 new ones from the grade 8 bolts?

Make two extra for sure. It takes only a bit longer to make a couple extra for your parts box.

I'm assuming you have the book, there are three different lengths for those firing pins. They also have it as polished drill, rod-heat treated.

No David, I don't have the book, all I have is 1 good firing pin and one buggered up bushing which I am taking measurements from.
